The Cryptocurrency World runs in Egoistic Altruism

The cryptocurrency world promises innovation and upheaval of old practices and systems that do not serve the interest of the public in this day and age. One of its promises states a world that is run by decentralized cryptocurrencies that corporations or single entities have no power over.

It’s no doubt this is what powers the whole hierarchy of systems that embody the cryptocurrency world. But what really makes the clock tick behind such a system is, of course, money.

No matter how much people dignify that what they are in for in this industry is anything besides the cash inflow, they still benefit from it. And frankly speaking, the amount of people who are saying this truthfully is severely low. Best believe that anyone who says they are investing because of the technology or the system behind a project is lying out of their asses and is probably in there primarily because of the money.

Do not misconstrue though, because this is a good thing.

For a project to be realized, it needs supporters with the money to boot. This will only be possible if such investors were to be given the promise that they are in fact, going to profit from such ventures.

And the more money coming in, the better are the chances that much better and innovative projects will come in the future.

Imagine, if the cryptocurrency world hadn’t thrived out of our personal interests, would we have great projects such as CUDOS? I think not. Because if a venture is not profitable, people will ditch it no matter how good the cause is.

In a sense, this is also what powers the CUDOS system too. The project and its cause are good and all but to be paid as a Validator is no joke at all. And I believe it is one of the biggest reasons why the CUDOS Validator post became one of the hottest and most sought job styles in this industry.

Again, this is not a bad thing, but the contrary.

Egoistic Altruism is true and no matter how people think bad of it, it shows that even in our most selfish moments, we can still chip in help and allow for a better opportunity to open for the rest of us. What’s much cooler, you get to benefit from helping other people besides the self-realization you receive every time you lend a helping hand.
